

Our Bagel
Our Bagel is a blend of Old World and New School. Using taditional techniques including slow fermentation, the highest quality ingredients, and our own unique take on the classic NYC style, we bring you a bagel that is chewy, crispy, airy but somehow still dense, perfect fresh, but also delicious toasted throughout the week. Serve it simply with a schmear of our delicious cream cheeses, or use it as the base for your sandwich creations at breakfast, lunch or dinner
Our Name and Design
If you have ever walked the streets of NYC since the 60s and grabbed a paper cup of coffee from a diner of shiny street cart vendor you will notice a distinct blue cup with a couple of distinct features on it; the meander design elements synonymous with the Greek owned diner, and the iconic Greek lettering with the warming words ‘We are happy to serve’.
The ‘Anthora’ cup as it came be known was developed as a response to the growing population of Greek restaurateurs who still to this day are the backbone of the classic American Diner and many of the street carts of our cities.
This name and the design we have adopted is inspired by them, what they have created and what others like them have come to represent here in America, food from around the world being brought to these shores, altered, changed, Adapted and adopted, made to fit the palettes and ingredients available, to bring that warmth of the home and the heart, even to the cold streets. To bring food and fuel to the people, to use one’s skills and abilities to build and grow and make good.
